Gravitational-wave memory - waveforms and phenomenology

Gravitational-wave memory is a prediction of general relativity, that states that freely-falling test masses will be permanently displaced after the emission of gravitational waves. Extracting the memory waveform from numerical relativity simulations is difficult, in this work we present a code for evaluating the memory signal from arbitrary gravitational-wave sources and investigate the phenomenology of memory from compact binary coalescences.
