Bilby-MCMC

MCMC methods for exploring posterior distributions are a key part of the astronomer’s toolkit. The choice of proposal distribution is essential to efficiently exploring the space. We introduce an MCMC implementation tailored to gravitational-wave transient analyses featuring a combination of traditional, density estimation, and gravitational-wave specific jump proposals.
